Two forms of transportation down, only one major one to go...in a mere few hours. I can't believe the trip has already arrived and we will be taxiing the YVR runway on our way to Japan in less than 14 hours. It's going to be hard, but I have to now let go of the connections to my workplace for a full 3 weeks and pretend I don't care what happens while I am away. There was so much to do that I feel guilty for how much work I have left behind, but I tried very hard to get as much done as I could over at least 12 hours of my own free overtime recently so I cannot be told the effort was not there.
I believe I packed everything that is required for the trip, and if not, it is too late now. If I don't have it, then I better not need it. This is just the first of what I hope to be many updates over the next few weeks so keep checking back to stay updated on the current events. I must now go to bed so I can either get a good nights sleep to be rested for a FULL day of travelling tomorrow or just lay awake on my grandparents couch awaiting the days to come.
Stay safe everyone and I can't wait to share my adventure with everyone as it unfolds!
